Monumental Sculpture · 2014–2015
A monumental aluminum sculpture weighing 1,000 kg and standing 3.5 meters tall, inaugurated on June 7, 2015 in Piazza XX Settembre, Bossolasco. Inspired by a WWII episode in which the entire town sheltered Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi persecution. The left wing embraces and protects; the right wing wards off threats while remaining open to welcome those seeking refuge.
